2020 has already been quite a year for everyone around the world, including the film industry. As we await reopening of our towns and cities, we can look forward to our highly-anticipated summer flicks that will now be released starting around fall this year. With exciting fan favorites such as Fast and Furious 9, No Time to Die, Wonder Woman 1984, and new origin story — Black Widow to come, you can expect some dynamic themes in these films. One key theme that’s not usually highlighted in action films is family.

Action films are continuing to bring in the more human aspect to it with family at the core. For starters, the Fast and Furious franchise has been known to have family at its core but this year, they’re flipping family upside down. From the first official trailer, you can already see Dom (Vin Diesel) living a peaceful, happy life with his family.

The white-picket fence or wood barn in this case, are quickly threatened when Dom must face his past.

Together with his ride-or-die, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), along with the rest of his fast family, he must come to find just who his true family is.

When things hit close to home, a familial adversary comes-a-crashing.

With the film being delayed from May 22 this year due to coronavirus, you’ll have to hold onto your seat a little longer until April 2 of next year.

Until then, get hyped with the trailer!

Black Widow follows the journey of Black Widow aka my favorite Avenger, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) is a former Russian assassin-turned-good girl or so she thinks, and takes on the perspective of a more unorthodox family.

The lady spy, now must face her past. It goes back to the beginning. From young girl to trained killer.

Trying to face her past with her sister (Florence Pugh) isn’t enough, so she must have the rest of her family join in her fight — her parents, who are also trained killers.

The family background as assassins and whether Natasha will save herself while she saves the world, remains unknown in the trailer but should get you pumped for what is to come in the film.

Black Widow will be slaying in theaters not this May, but in November (Tech Radar).

Until then, get hyped with its trailers like its teaser, special look, and final trailer!

Although both Black Widow and Fast and Furious 9 have been delayed until later towards next year, you can still get your action fix starting this July with Mulan, as well as with Wonder Woman 1984 in August. Although these films were both delayed as well, you can get your thrills before the action-packed film month of November.
